Rhiannon studied her passion for design in England, UK. Out of University she joined BDP (Building Design Partnership) as a junior designer in 2011. During her time there she completed several projects with her most successful being the UK Pavilion at the Milan Expo with Artist; Wolfgang Buttress. This work was awarded with international recognition and is now permanently located in Kew Gardens, London.

In 2015 she moved to Australia to join Electrolight where she gained valuable experience in the design and delivery of some fantastic hospitality projects within Sydney CBD. A project she delivered during her time there, El Camino, won a commendation with the IES awards in Sydney 2017.

She then joined FPOV (Firefly Point of View) in 2016 as a senior designer and project lead for the Crown Resort Sydney project; a six-star luxury hotel resort at Barangaroo South. This project involved managing design, documentation and client relations for hotel rooms and suites, luxury apartments, signature restaurants, bars, luxury retail outlets, pool and spa facilities, conference rooms and gaming facilities.

Simultaneously she managed projects including exterior public realm masterplans, private residences and commercial fit-outs. A favourite project of hers; Virgin Active Barangaroo, won an award of excellence in 2018 with the IES awards, Sydney.

In addition to Architectural Lighting Design, Rhiannon enjoys to design and develop custom lighting products, art and installations. In 2016 she founded WESTUDIO, her own practice, where she designs and creates both indoor small sculpture and outdoor sculpture designed to capture and play with light.
